When the unwelcome news of the 'Joupi' massacre;
Where the mass succumb of my near and dear ones was aired.
I, a li'l boy wept inconsolably;
Cos, its too hard to bear the evil hands of the blood thirsty NSCN(IM).
Why didn't my tribesmen retaliate and do the same?
Was my old-testamental judgement about it.
But, in my heart of heart's,, I yearns to forgive them;
Like my saviour Jesus did with a host of my uncountable sins.
Cos, in the Bible God assured us vengeance is his own duty.
So, we youths of the nation vows to forgive them;
Pledged to strive hard in studies, bloomed academically in every walks of life.
Then ~ massacre, mournings and the likes of the past will never spring again.
No one will claim our forefather's land as theirs again;
Our present home will remain our homeland on earth till the universe exist.
And heaven's for the future.
Nice note
